Lilli and I had been dating for a couple of months at this point. I think this was around her birthday. I think we were at Coney Island but it could be any of the Brooklyn beaches to be honest.
It was cold. We mainly just walked around but I took lillis photo at this weird metal palm tree and used it for my first digital 210 assignment.
I don’t think I’d seen Eternal Sunshine of a spotless mind yet but now it's all I can think about with these. I mean, seriously, winter at the beach and a shoddily erased girl.
Probably somewhat rude if you’re someone's partner and you’ve seen Eternal Sunshine and you’ve only just been dating for a couple months. I doubt it was considered, but maybe funny. Thankfully it all worked out.

I love metal nature or those weirdly disguised like electrical boxes or what, cell towers and electrical poles they try to make look like trees. Most definitely easier to pick out and way more of an eyesore than just being honest and accepting of yourself. Allow yourself just one more cell tower, then close out if you’re truly starting to feel some type of way about they way they look back at you when you’re driving to your grandma's.

I feel like that metal nature thing is like most nature now, so maybe that's why I like it. Or partly. ¹I think its funny ²if you live most places your shits probably rocked: like every mountain has a line shaved through it for powerlines and all waterfalls have parks built in to them to the point I cant really convince my self that the exposed face isn’t made like the walls on a highway just blasted and drilled, wrapped with the chicken wire so shit doesn’t fall off and kill. And like do lakes or ponds exist outside of lake houses and parks. I feel like damn, how does anyone swim if they aren’t lake home owners. I’m not a lake home owner but I wish I was because I really get to swim in like 3-4 different lakes in a year and its the same 4 every year.

¹Deer lake is one but thats private and frankly fuckin nasty I don’t know if I’m really gonna swim there again, ²Yearly pontoon boat ride for Sams birthday on Hopatcong, ³Woodford state park but thats in Vermont so thats only when we’re camping for a week, and honestly I don’t know if theres another. probably a couple rivers but not lakes. I guess.
